The Road Back to Us by Kira Adams Review

Hey Book Lovers,

I have a new review for you; it’s the 3rd and final book in the Foundation Series by Kira Adams. I just finished it this morning and I couldn’t wait to tell you what I thought.

The series consists of:

  1. Pieces of Me
  2. The Fighter
  3. The Road Back to Us

Synopsis (Goodreads)

After leaving for Twisted Tour, Peyton Lane thought her relationship with Jace Austin was stronger than ever, but she was wrong. Tabloids and magazine gossip took center stage, and their relationship took a back seat. So, she did what any logical young adult would do: she moved on.

Moving on is easier said than done, especially when it comes to Jace. He knows Peyton is his soulmate. He’s known it all along. He let her slip through his fingers once before, but he won’t do it again. This time he’s playing for keeps.

This is a Contemporary Romance and I absolutely loved it. One of the things I loved about this series is how realistic the characters and their issues are throughout each book. The author has created something that anyone can relate to and it’s a fast paced read. You won’t want to put it down because something is always happening from one moment to the next. This book continues to follow Peyton and Jace along their journey to stardom. Along the way they seem to fall apart and experience some surprising situations. Something interesting about this author is that the chapters alternate between story and song lyrics. Which is a very interesting and cool way to move the story along in a different way. It allows us to really get into Peytons head. I did feel that the ending was a little rushed and that could’ve been paced more slowly, but other then that I really recommend this book. Especially to people that like Contemporary books.

I will have something new for you soon.
