True Love by Jennifer Lopez Review

Hey Book Lovers,

This is going to be a quick review, because I find most of the time it’s difficult to describe certain autobiographies without giving things away. I don’t know about you but I tend to enjoy reading books by celebrities, because it’s interesting to learn about their life experiences in their own words. Especially since there’s so much that we hear and read in news outlets.

One thing I loved was Jennifer Lopez honesty throughout the book. She didn’t use this as an opportunity to bash anyone or complain, but to really take us through her journey. This is read like pages from a diary. I listened to most of this in audio book form so it was great to hear her read it. It seemed like she wrote this book for her own closure and to release her own truth. Not only for herself but for fans as well. I don’t have too much more to say about this and that’s because with autobiographies and memoirs there isn’t a plot because this is someones life. I must say that this is more of an autobiography then memoir because she didn’t give us many stories about her life as a child or teen. This book delved into her life as an adult and her career. Also some of the memorable relationships we all know about. I enjoyed this book and it was a quick and easy read.

I definitely recommend this book to fans of Jennifer Lopez or people interested in knowing more of her story, but it’s not something I would say you should put at the top of your list. There are a lot of great memoirs out there and I will have a list of those for you soon.

I hope everyone has a Happy Easter if you celebrate it and if you don’t just have a fabulous day!!

Happy Reading!!!
